Blue Dog Avenue

I am a one-woman small business and member of the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi in leather work, specializing in eco-friendly cork and cactus leathers.  These incredible leather alternatives are sustainable, durable and water-resistant.

Inspired by vintage bags, my Blue Dog Avenue line offers a contemporary take on classic designs.  Every bag is handcrafted solely by me from start to finish, including the creation and designing of my patterns.  All of the materials are carefully cut by hand and then individually sewn in my home studio, giving the utmost attention to each and every detail.  

In my design process, I strive for a perfect balance between aesthetic appeal and functional performance.  I view my pieces as much more than mere bags or accessories but rather an intersection of art and design.  To me, each piece is a wearable work of art and is crafted by hand with the care it deserves.
